An early investor in Bitcoin, Ethereum and numerous early-stage ventures, Joost co-founded Maven 11 in 2015 to build one of the first registered European venture capital firms in the blockchain space. As an angel investor he built a portfolio of blockchain projects and realised a 13x multiple before launching Maven 11 Fund 1, for which he raised EUR 15M from European family offices and high-net-worth individuals. Before Maven 11 he founded the telecom start-up *bliep, named Start-Up of the Year by The Next Web in 2013 and sold in 2015.

Mathijs got into blockchain through prediction markets and joined Maven 11 in 2017 as one of its first hires, while studying Accountancy and Tax Economics at Tilburg University. He has been a General Partner since 2023.

Arun spent 14 years in investment banking at ABN AMRO and Kempen & Co, followed by more than a decade in senior finance roles at Randstad, including CFO of Randstad Sweden Group. He joined Maven 11 in 2024 and is responsible for financial strategy, operations and control across the group.

Alexander has an engineering background and an MSc in Business Analytics & Management from RSM Erasmus University. He entered blockchain in 2017 and joined Maven 11 in 2024. He is responsible for fundamental analysis of early-stage investments, covering due diligence, thesis work and portfolio support.

Bram has been in DeFi since 2020 and was part of the founding team of a leading DeFi project. He joined Maven 11 in 2021 as Investment Manager on the venture team, later became Head of Product, and has been Portfolio Manager of the Maven 11 Yield Fund since January 2026.

Thibault has been in crypto since 2020, with a background in corporate finance and information systems. After two years as a digital assets analyst at Blockchain Partner by KPMG in Paris, he joined Maven 11 in 2024. He heads up M11 Credit and is responsible for DeFi relationships and strategies for the Yield Fund.

He has supported the security of high-value crypto projects and brings a practical, threat-driven approach to protecting assets, strengthening operational resilience, and reducing risk in an increasingly complex threat environment.

Pablo entered crypto in 2020 with a focus on DeFi. He holds an MSc in Science and Business Management from Utrecht University. He sources and leads venture deals in DeFi, tokenisation, RWAs and CeDeFi tooling, and runs the firm's residency programmes for early-stage start-ups.
